The drawing above, by Judith Alsop, is a sketch of the relative position of the star tetrahedron field that exists around every human body. The apex is one hand length above the head and the bottom point is one hand length beneath the feet (when standing). When seated on the ground, the point of the bottom tetrahedron "sinks" further in the Earth than when standing up. The SUN tetrahedron points upwards toward the sky. One visualizes white prana light coming in through the apex and fililng the form on the inbreath. The Earth tetrahedron points downward and one visualizes the prana energy moving up through the downward point and filling the form on the outbreath. On the maie, the point of the SUN tetrahedron base is in the front while on the female, the SUN tetrahedron's point is in the back.
The geometric design that makes up the Merkaba Star has been known and utilized by civilizations in Atlantis, Lemuria, Tibet and Egypt…to name a few.
This star is the pinnacle for energy capture, transmutation, transfer and focused discharge.
The word is broken down by ancient Egyptians as; M(e)r = place of ascending, Ka = Spirit, Ba = Soul. Another translation is Mer = light, Ka = Spirit, Ba = Body.
Merkaba has come to mean the “spirit body” surrounded by counter rotating fields of light (wheels within wheels), which is the vehicle to transport spirit body from one dimension to another.
It is the divine light vehicle used by Masters to connect and reach those in tune with the higher realms. It is made up of 2 star tetrahedrons and is believed that we all possess a Merkaba field around us awaiting to be activated.
The Merkaba serves to balance all the chakras and lead one into the whole.
