"Life's not about waiting for the storms to pass...
It's about learning to dance in the rain."

Picasso Marble

Marble is a common building stone and an even more common sculptor’s stone. Although marble is a soft rock, it is very dense in structure. Millions of years ago in the PreCambrian Era,  marble originated as limestone. The sedimentary limestone masses occasionally came in contact with magma and under extreme pressure, was forever altered.

Other minerals from the magma infiltrated the limestone lending to its feathery lines and intricate designs. One such example of this is the Picasso Marble found in Utah. The scenic effect and striking colors contrast in the black and golds and make this a very popular and sought after rock for those in the lapidary field. The designs are often intricate and mesmerizing and hold their own special properties.

This mineral provides clarity  and suspension in states of meditation, including tantric activities. It promotes peak states of meditation and total recall of dreams. It helps to actuate the “unused” portion of the mind, providing for strength of self control, mastery of thought and power of serenity. It can provide a nurturing instinct and enhance ‘good common sense’ in matters of the home and of the heart. It provides both physical and emotional protection.
